A productive day is not about getting a lot done; it is about getting the important things done, the things which really matters to you.
As a Solopreneur one of the best things is having the freedom to do whatever you want to do, you get to decide what time you get up, what you do, and how much time you take off. However, sometimes this can be the biggest curse too.

Have you ever had a day where you not sure what you’re supposed to be doing?

No one is telling you what to do or when to do it, so you end up having a totally unproductive day? I have …                                                                                                                                                                                  Having all the freedom to do what we want can sometimes be a hard thing to deal with because all of a sudden you have to decide what you do with your time; you have to be super focused and motivated in order to make things happen. I will share what I learnt to help me

Here are 3 things you need to when you get up to be more productive

1. SET YOUR DAILY INTENTIONS

I know it’s obvious and simple but how many of us are doing this on a regular basis?
So if you don’t then start doing it. Tony Robbins said “Where intention goes energy flows “ Set your intention what you want to achieve today. Decide on the three things that you’d like to accomplish today in order for you to feel like the day was a success. Or you can ask yourself what are the 3 things you could do that bring you closer to your goal?

2. MAKE A DAILY PLAN

Once you know what you want to achieve, spend a few minutes writing down what you need to do in order to make it happen. When you know exactly what you need to do, you’ll be more focused, motivated and get more done.

3. SCHEDULE YOUR ACTION IN YOUR DIARY

Once you know what you need to do, schedule it in your diary.
One of the most common mistakes people make is not turning to-do lists into time-bound. Write down the time you want to work on each task and write down the amount of time that you estimate the task might take. This is going to take your productivity to another level. When you look at your daily plan and say e.g. It’s 2 pm and right now I should be doing X” This will help you refocus on the tasks you’ve prioritised when you do get distracted and you’ll feel more motivated and focused, because you know exactly what you need to be doing and everything become so much easier.

When you become the master of your time, you’ll feel so much better and you’ll have more successful days where you achieve lots more.
These 3 things have transformed my days and my work. I hope they transform yours too
What things do you do daily that help you to be more productive and have a successful day?
